Zaner Bloser Handwriting Brochure

This was an interesting campaign. It was challenging to take such dry subject matter and portray it in a way that was aesthetically pleasing as well as informative to the chosen demographic. Zaner Bloser produces handwriting manuscripts for cursive handwriting and in many reports good handwriting actually improves test scores. The real challenge for this campaign was to portray the information and tell a story through the brochure. My take on this went in multiple directions, the first of which used a narrative of a child drawing on tests and assignments and the teacher's critique of said assignments, this was scrapped fairly early The Second was the narrative of a child's progression through life and how the test scores ultimately gave him success in his career in the future. This idea stuck around and ultimately suffered a loss to the third idea.
